RivEr/Generation_LAB-Linking Resilience with Inclusiveness in the Urban-Built Environment of Rome

The impact of metropolization processes and climate change effects on natural anthropic environments, together with energy waste, the excessive consumption agricultural soils their progressive waterproofing a reduction in vegetation cover, highlights need for sustainable management existing resources, terms equitable ethical development, towards inclusive communities able to adapt negative emergency phenomena. This contribution presents results activities conducted RivEr/Generation_LAB, project organized by three CIVIS members (Sapienza University Rome, Universitè libre de Bruxelles, Universidad Autonoma Madrid) as part Project “RivEr/Generation_LAB. Linking resilience inclusiveness urban built environment Brussels, Madrid”, financed Hub4 Cities, Territories & Mobilities’ Call proposals 2021. proposes methodology intervention Flaminio district, particular Olympic Village its relationship Tiber River, line Sustainable Development Goals, Millennium Ecosystem Assessment New European Bauhaus, establish new relationships between cities environment, favoring public spaces.
